Bringing a piano into the Crater

Skip Daynes the owner of one of the oldest Steinway piano dealers in the country, Daynes Music, says it best…”This is a Steinway Model M grand piano, it’s worth about $56,000, and it’s sitting on a platform on top of the water.”

This is what our friends at Steinway & Sons have to put up with on a regular basis, bringing lovely instruments into places like geothermal caves. The Crater at the The Homestead Resort in Midway Utah is quite the natural wonder. In watching the video you’ll get a little peak inside some of the facts of the cave and what the experience was like shooting a music video in there from those involved.
