So as we all know it's Christmas time! And yes WE ARE HOME!! Yay! Casey and I have put up our first christmas tree (don't ask about how difficult it was. We're actually thinking that next year we may create and patent a new type of christmas tree stand. We could potentially be millionaires you know....) So life is good! It's been snowing quite a bit here, so it adds to the whole chrsitmas feeling. I actually don't have loads to say, but I wanted to post some pictures. I have to first tell all of you who wrote on my last blog (all the congratulations), THANK YOU! That meant so much to me that so many people cared enough to write. Where would we be without all of you?
So about the pictures... our best friend Greg Anderson (he writes so much of our music these days) was there snapping away. I had a professional photographer there as well, but I'm yet to order the pictures (yeah I'm slow about everything these days). So maybe eventually I can post some of my all time favorites. Of course, then again, I don't want to be the newly married person that can only talk about wedding pictures (you know, it's like when someone has a baby, all they want to do is show you pictures). So sorry in advance. But just for some insight, The first picture is of Bryan (Desi's husband), Gregory and Greg Anderson. The following are some of just Casey and I. For those of you who care, I am wearing my mom's old veil and my seamstress is amazing! She does most of our clothes these days. There's one of Elizabeth Roe and I (my other really good friend who was there). She and Greg Anderson are piano duo partners (you should definitely check out their you tub e videos...they're amazing!) Also in there is the old car my dad owned that we drove off in, and of course a family picture (if you're wondering where we're looking, we're all looking at the photographer) Anyway, I hope you guys like them!
Love you all!
Melody

What's your relation? I just recognized them in your wedding picture. What are your tour plans for Europe? My dad wants to know.
Early morning flights!
Melody,
It was great to sit next to you on the airplane Monday as we both made our way out west. I shared your stories of Julliard with my daughter. She wanted to trade places with me, so she could talk to you.
I'm sure you wouldn't have gotten any rest, had she been in my seat.
Good luck in your next tour and in your life with Casey.
Blessings,
Phil
Concert at Texas A&M
Hi! My husband and I attended your concert at Texas A&M on January 10th. It was GREAT! The next day, I was showing our 4 year old son the YouTube videos. Later, I heard him in on our piano and when I went in, I found him using his fists. He said, "I'm Greg Brown! I'm like Greg Brown!" and was so pleased with himself.
Anyway, thanks again for a great concert!
5 Browns, 2 UT students, 10 minutes
Last ditch effort to try to snag a very brief interview with 1-5 of you this Monday, Jan. 14, in conjunction with your appearance in Tyler, Tx. University of Texas at Tyler students in my accompanying class would ask you 3 or 4 general questions focused on collaboration. Tried contacting your management to no avail. Would be very respectful of your time constraints.
Yay :-)
Thanks Melody for posting this photo and blog, glad to hear that everything's going well!
Happy Belated New Year to all!

Huge Favor
Hey guys, Im kinda new at this and am not sure how best to communicate with you. Well, my names David and I was wondering if you could do my stake and me a huge favor. I have recently become aware that your coming to BSU, my school, in muncie to perform, which we are all very excited about. I am on our Youth Council for the Muncie stake and we were wondering if there was any way we could schedule a fireside with you guys. We have several individuals who have a passion for music and would love to spend even just 15 minutes with any of you. But I understand that you are all very busy, and that this might be an inconvenience. We will be patiently and excitingly awaiting your reply!
Thanks,
David
Tree Stand
I have the perfect stand to put your tree up. We are from Canada and purchased it a few years ago. It is amazing to set up and is very user friendly. When are you coming to Canada to tour?
Merry Christmas!
Hey,
It looks like you had a great wedding and I hope all of you have a Merry Christmas!
